“ Las Parrandas de Remedio” (Remedio Party) in the Villa Clara province is the most famous and old regional party. These parties are developed toward the end of the year to celebrate the end of the agricultural works. The party consists on a competition of "games of lights" among the neighborhoods of the town. The fireworks are the main feature in the party. The members of each camp make explode the fireworks with frenzy during the whole night. The town of Remedio becomes a pyrotechnic battle, the sky doesn't stop to be illuminated neither for one seconds.
