More
than one million 400 thousands students and workers,
men, women and children from all walks of life,
began marching, 24 January 2006, in front of the
US Interests Section building in Havana as they
shouted “Bush Condemn the terrorist!”
in direct reference to the protection Washington
has provided Luis Posada Carriles who is scheduled
to attend a hearing Tuesday (January 26) at El
Paso Texas, where “his immigration status
is to be revised.”
Posada, a co-author of the 1976 mid-flight bombing
of a Cuban airliner off the coast of Barbados
that killed all 73 people on board, has been detained
only under common immigration charges for having
illegally entered US territory, and Washington
intends to release him.
