In
February 8/2007 was 16 International Book Fair
in San Carlos de la Cabaña Castle in Havana
City. During ten days was estimated that it was
visited for more than half million of people and
they were sold more than 1 400 000 books.
The children were the main protagonist and most
of the local were devoted to the infantile literature.
"100 Hours with Fidel," by Ignacio Ramonet,
was the best seller, followed by "Tinisima,"
by Poniatowska.
The Fair of the Book in Havana is the most popular
cultural event in Cuba. |
