Jutía
key, one of the islands that integrate the Coloradas
archipelago, in the Cuban occident, appears between
the attractiveness for the tourism in Pinar del
Rio province. The key beaches , characterized
by their fine sands, they are frequented by hundred
of vacationers every year. Several species of
endemic birds are part of the fauna of the place
that includes the Batista sparrow hawk and Zunzún
(bird fly). Their lighthouse is one of the biggest
attractiveness in the place, one of the oldest
of the country with a history of more than 100
years to the service of the sailing. The access
to Key Jutía is carried out through a causeway
which unites to the island with mainland and it
allows this way the arrival of the visitors and
the knowledge of the beauty of its landscape.
