Casa particular is the Cuban way to refer to bed & breakfast or private home stays. It is the way to call a house or an apartment where is offered lodging to tourists or foreigners during their vacations in Cuba. Although you could think that a casa particular is a bed & breakfast, breakfast is not included in the room price. Usually you could have breakfast or lunch in a casa particular for a very good price, you just have to ask for that service to the landlord or landlady and we assure you that you will enjoy very much the taste of the typical Cuban cuisine.
